Manx Television has invested in the latest DVCAM facilities
which is fast becoming the industry standard for news and
documentaries. Shooting in either the 4:3 or 16:9 formats,
Manx Television can deliver a product in a format accepted
by virtually all the worlds broadcasters.
For
ENG Applications Manx Television uses a fully equipped crew
vehicle (Nissan Terrano 4x4) kitted out with
a choice of cameras from Sony
Betacam SP / Sony DSR450WSP / Sony PD170 DVCAM cameras. The
addition of Minicams for 'onboard', dashboard, tight space
applications.
A Full Stereo sound kit, radio mics, booms is essential
to deliver crystal clear sound as well as a full ENG
lighting kit
Studio edit facilities are provided at the corporate
headquarters shared with media partners Energy Radio. The
suite is equipped with AVID®
Digital editing software, firewire connections, with output
back to DVCAM, Digi Beta, Betacam SP, DVD, CD, VHS, Hi8.
For location shooting, Manx Television's vehicle fleet
consists of a Honda ATV quad bike and a 7m Rigid Inflatable
Boat for coastal / inshore shoots. |
